Course outline
Practical Assessment
A total of three practical assessments will be taken as follows:
The two during the period of the Residential Week will be a Functional Practice, either defensive or
attacking; and 9v9 on the Principles of Play. The third assessment will be on a Functional Practice
developed into a Phase of Play.
The candidate must achieve a Pass Standard in the three practical assessments.
If the candidate fails to meet the required practical standards he/she will be permitted to have a
maximum of two further re-assessments.
The duration of the course will be 7 days
On attaining the above criteria the candidate will receive a CONFCAL ‘B’ Licence.
The focus of this course is on preparing players and teams for youth, amateur and adult league teams
below senior level.
