CONFCAL ‘B’ Licence
Candidates must hold a CONFCAL‘B’ Licence as a minimum requirement for acceptance onto the CONFCAL ‘A’ Licence.
Course outline
The CONFCAL ‘A’ Licence is an advanced Coaching Award. It will include practical and theoretical
aspects
Practical
The focus will be on 11 v 11 team technical and tactical play and systems of play
Theory
Topics covered include fitness and conditioning; motivation; game analysis.
Top European National and Club coaches will conduct both practical and discussion sessions.
The focus of this course is on preparing players and teams for professional and semi-professional
Leagues or top amateur Leagues.
Assessment
Practical Coaching
Candidates will have the opportunity to be assessed twice during the course
Theory
Candidates are required to submit answers to a Theory Question Paper.
In order to complete the CONFCAL ‘A’ Licence, the candidate must pass both practical coaching
assessments, and attain a minimum mark of 65% in the theory paper..
The focus of this course is on preparing players and teams for professional and semi-professional
Leagues or top amateur Leagues.
Course content, tasks and assessments are based upon the following competencies:
● Football knowledge
● Management skills
● Personal presentation
